MATH 3004 - Problem Solving and Discrete Mathematics

Prerequisite(s): MATH 1634 with a grade of C or better.
Students will learn and implement a variety of techniques to solve problems in areas such as number theory, geometry, and combinatorics. Students will also learn the rules of symbolic logic and learn techniques of direct and indirect proofs at an introductory level.
