PSYC 4133 - Sensation and Perception

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 1103 , PSYC 2203 .

An information processing view of mechanisms through which sensory information is extracted from the stimulus environment and ultimately recognized and interpreted through the perceptual processes.  Topics will include the contributions of selective attention and memory functions to perception, and roles played by both the stimulus and the perceiver in the perceptual outcome.
