PHYS 3323 - Electromagnetic Field Theory

3 (3-0)

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 2644 , MATH 2534  and MATH 3433 .

A mathematical treatment of the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory. Topics include electrostatics; Laplace’s Equation; the theory of dielectrics; magnetostatics, electromagnetic induction; magnetic fields of current; Maxwell’s equations.
