A transnational history of Australia, its place in the world, and its relationships with the British Empire, the United States, Greater Asia, and other international entities.  Major themes consider Australia’s place in the global community.  European and Aboriginal relations, the Outback in a global economy, and the Wild West in Australian popular culture.
