Prerequisite(s): Admission to MSU Graduate History Program.
This course is designed to further develop and refine the graduate student’s awareness of and engagement in the processes of scholarly historical writing. Particular emphasis is placed on the graduate student’s ability to analyze, evaluate and produce the forms of academic historical writing, thus giving the graduate student a strong foundation in the skills necessary for practicing the craft of history at the professional level.
