A post-practicum, supervised, 600 clock-hours (2 - 300 clock-hours), “capstone” clinical experience in which the student refines and enhances basic counseling, knowledge and skills and experiences the role of the school counselor in school settings. This course may be repeated for credit. This course is designed to incorporate the theoretical and technical aspects of the counseling process. Students will work with real clients in schools to gain the necessary skills to successfully counsel others. Students engage in the role of the school counselor and support the development of a developmental, comprehensive school counseling program at their internship sites. This course will require hybrid delivery.
