ENGL 1143 - Academic Research and Writing

This course provides training in rhetoric, including skills involved in the writing process through composition and reading with the addition of particular skills needed for thoughtful research, from selection and analysis to integration and documentation of both print and electronic sources. Students will be required to prepare a research paper of moderate length demonstrating these skills. A grade of C or better is required in this course.
