This course focuses on the ethics related to law, morality, and code of conduct required for social work practice. Content of this course focuses on the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics for social work practice that encompasses confidentiality, integrity, professional competence, and so forth. It also includes legal aspects of social work practice in the state of Texas, such as mandatory reporting, etc. as well as practical aspects of managing unethical professional practices.
