PSYC 6200 - Internship II 0 semester hours
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 5200 , PSYC 6203 , and consent of the Director of Clinical Training. Co-requisite: Must be taken concurrently with PSYC 5203 .
An external clinical training placement consisting of 225 clock hours (95 direct client contact - individual, couple, group, or family therapy; 130 hours of indirect - e.g., individual/group supervision, trainings, office duties) of work and study in an approved setting which provides psychological services such as Community MHMR Center, a psychiatric hospital, or a counseling center. This work and study are to be supervised by a licensed supervisor. Additionally, students will participate in weekly group supervision provided by a licensed psychologist.
