PSYC 6152 - Clinical Practicum

Prerequisite(s): PSYC 5143, PSYC 5163, PSYC 5213, and PSYC 6113, and consent of the Director of Clinical Training; and completion of a criminal background check. Co-requisite: Must be taken concurrently with PSYC 6181.

Consists of 150 clock hours (50 direct client contact - individual, couple, group, or family therapy; 100 hours of indirect - e.g., individual/group supervision, trainings, office duties) of work and study in the MSU Psychology center. This work and study are to be supervised by a licensed supervisor. Participation in weekly group supervision conducted by a licensed psychologist.
