ENGL 4243 - Usability and User Experience Research 3(3-0)
This course teaches students foundational concepts about usability and user experience. The course prepares writing professionals to develop skills in user-centered documentation creation. By learning and evaluating various user research methods, students analyze user needs and solve users’ problems through ideation, prototyping, and usability testing. Students have opportunities for hands-on experience with clients and end-users through activities and project-based teamwork.
