This course explores the foundational principles of computer architecture and operating systems, essential for understanding secure and optimized system design. Students will learn how hardware and OS layers interact to balance efficient computation with robust security. Students will be introduced to UNIX. Intended for students seeking a CYBS minor, a certificate in cybersecurity or data science, or a BAAS degree.
