RADS 2022 - Introduction to Professional Practice

2 (2-0)

Prerequisite(s): Program Admission.

This course is designed to introduce students to subjects related to radiologic technology practice and will serve to connect students with professors and clinical students.  Subjects such as radiation and equipment safety, communication, ethics, difficult patients (pediatric, trauma, alcohol and drug users, and geriatrics) will be discussed.  Students will learn to handle radiologic science equipment and participate in patient/imaging scenarios.
