Great Books Minor

Students will take courses that devote a substantial amount of time to reading and discussing Great Books (primary texts) in any discipline, in any department. Because the Department of English, Humanities, and Philosophy offers a large number of such courses in three different disciplines, students would be required to take a certain number of those courses in that department, specifically.

Requirements for a Minor in Great Books - 18 semester hours (at least 9 advanced)

Additional 9 hours
Nine additional hours in the disciplines above or any other discipline, as appropriate (e.g., HIST, POLS). See the minor advisor for approval.
