Special Education Minor

The minor in Special Education prepares students to plan and deliver specially designed instruction. Students will receive advanced training and support through mentoring and project-based learning.

Requirements for Minor in Special Education - 15 semester hours from the following:

KNES 4513 - Adapted Physical Activity 3
SPED 4113 - Foundations of Special Education 3
SPED 4513 - Teaching Strategies for Affective Disorders 3
SPED 4533 - Early Childhood Special Education 3
SPED 3523 - Introduction to Individuals with Disabilities 3
SPED 3973 - Special Topics in Special Education 3
