Prerequisite(s): 3 hours of prior PHIL coursework or permission of the instructor. May not be taken if student has received credit for PHIL 2503.
This course provides a historical and theoretical overview of Western philosophy from classical antiquity through the end of the Middle Ages. Individual research and evidence of the ability to explain and critically analyze philosophical ideas being studied will be required.
Writing Intensive (WI): Meets one of the courses in the Writing Proficiency Requirement.
