RADS 4783 - Computed Tomography Applications I 3 (3-0)
(Formerly: Computed Tomography Applications)
Prerequisite(s): RADS 3213 , 4723 , and 4733 .
This course focuses on using computed tomography as an imaging tool from the technologist’s perspective. Topics include a review of patient care, contrast media and adverse reactions, and imaging protocols for the head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spine. CT-guided interventional techniques will also be discussed. Ability to perform CT scans on patients or instructor consent required.
