Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or above or consent of the chair, and MGMT 3013 .
This course focuses on fundamental supervisory skills needed for managerial effectiveness. Topics include developing self-awareness, managing stress, solving problems analytically and creatively, communicating effectively, gaining power and influence, motivating others, managing conflict, empowering and delegating, building effective teams, and leading positive change.

Prerequisite(s): TSI Assessment Math score of 336-349, or ABEM score of 5-6, or ABEM score of 0-4 and MATH 0003 with a grade of C or better. Co-requisite(s): MATH 1053 .
The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in Contemporary Mathematics. Developmental topics include integers, fractions, decimals, percentages, exponents, linear equations and inequalities and their graphs, deductive and inductive reasoning, interpretation of data from graphs and charts. Other topics include integration of the above topics into the content topics of theory of elections and apportionment, graphs and networks, and statistics.

MATH 0203 - Developmental Supplement for Mathematical Analysis for Business 3 (3-0)
Prerequisite(s): TSI-A math score of 340-349 or MATH 0003 with a grade of C or higher. Co-requisite(s): MATH 1203 .
The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in MATH 1203, Mathematical Analysis for Business. Developmental topics include the real and complex number system, relations and functions, linear inequalities, and polynomial equations. Additionally the course will support students in developing skills needed to attain an in-depth knowledge of transformations of graphs, business applications of linear and quadratic functions, the mathematics of finance, matrix operations and linear programming, all of which are required for successful completion of MATH 1203 . Each student must have a graphing calculator.

The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in MATH 1233 - College Algebra. Developmental topics include the real and complex number system, relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational). Additionally the course will support students in developing skills needed to attain an in-depth knowledge of applications of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, all of which are required for successful completion of MATH 1233 .

MATH 1233 - College Algebra (TCCNS = MATH 1314) 3 (3-0)
Prerequisite(s): MATH 1003 with a grade of C or better, math TSI Assessment score of 350, math THEA score of 270, math Accuplacer score of 90, or satisfactory score on placement exam.
In-depth study of polynomials, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, including applications for these functions and methods for solving related equations and inequalities. Additional topics, such as systems of linear equations, may be included. (This course is designed for students planning to take additional mathematics.)
