MATH 0233 - Developmental Supplement for College Algebra

Prerequisite(s): TSI Assessment Math score of 345-349 or MATH 0003 with a grade of C or higher, and concurrent enrollment in MATH 1233. Co-requisite(s): MATH 1233

The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in MATH 1233 - College Algebra. Developmental topics include the real and complex number system, relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational). Additionally the course will support students in developing skills needed to attain an in-depth knowledge of applications of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, all of which are required for successful completion of MATH 1233.
