Students are given the opportunity to participate in the Air Force ROTC program as crosstown students at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
Students are required to attend an academic class, leadership laboratory and physical training at the University of North Texas once a week during the fall and spring academic semesters.
The AFROTC mission is to develop quality leaders to serve our country as officers in the United States Air Force. As a part of the program, students will prepare themselves to become Air Force Officers while completing their degrees as college students. Students enroll in AFROTC classes at the same time and in the same manner as other university courses, through their respective university. Students may participate in the four-year or three-year programs.
For more information please visit www.afrotc.unt.edu or email det835@unt.edu.
NOTE: ROTC students will register for ROTC courses through their respective university. Payment for the courses is through the specific university’s Bursar Office by the published payment deadlines.
