The Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Child and Adolescent Studies prepares individuals to work in settings and environments related to schools, child care facilities, and other adolescent and youth related community settings, both public and private, with a focus of study on the developmental and cognitive stages of childhood and adolescence. This major does not lead to certification. This major does not lead to Texas teacher certification.
